Built by a Fan.
Built for the Sport.
I Started Atlas Because
the Sport Deserved Better.
My name is Chandler Schelkopf. I started Atlas Sports because I grew up watching college football the way most fans do: completely, obsessively, school-to-school across every conference. And I kept noticing a gap.
National outlets talk about the sport in rankings and highlight packages. Team-specific pages only see their own sideline. Nobody was covering the entire landscape, the connections between communities, the stories that travel across conferences, the data that actually explains what's happening on the field.
Atlas Sports is my attempt to build that. Not a news ticker. Not a blog. A media brand built for the fan who cares about college football the way it actually deserves to be cared about. We're early in this journey, and it's just getting started.
A Real Audience.
Built Organically.
The Atlas Sports audience doesn't follow one team, they follow college football. They track every conference, argue every ranking, and watch four games simultaneously on a Saturday.
Athletic departments that credential Atlas Sports reach a sport-wide audience that national outlets and team-specific accounts cannot replicate.
On the Ground.
Across the Map.
Atlas Sports has operated under full media credentials at Power Five programs, sideline access, photo credentials, and press box coverage at Big Ten and Big 12 games.

Building Something
Bigger Than a Media Page.
It is the next generation of college football infrastructure.
Most college football media was built for a different era, publishing cycles designed for news. Social feeds optimized for impressions. Coverage that reacts rather than illuminates.
Atlas Sports is being built for what comes next: an ecosystem where fans don't just consume coverage. They use tools. They engage with data. They follow rankings they actually trust.
The map is bigger than any single team, any single Saturday, any single season. We are building the infrastructure to cover all of it.
- Credentialed game-day coverage
- Short-form video & social content
